As Scotland prepares to host the first ever UCI Cycling World Championships, NHS 24 is promoting information on how to access health and care services for both residents and visitors to Scotland.
From the 3rd to the 13th of August, the UCI Cycling World Championships will feature a variety of events, including road racing, track cycling, BMX, and mountain biking. The biggest cycling event ever staged will take place across Scotland, with the bulk of events taking place in and around Glasgow city centre.
“It’s exciting that Scotland is hosting the first UCI Cycling World Championships” says NHS 24’s Director of Service Delivery, Pauline Howie. “These events will offer both the athletes and spectators a unique opportunity to experience Scotland’s hospitality. Therefore, we want all attendees to know that NHS 24 is here to support them and can provide help to access the right care in the right place should they need medical advice.”
